One of the reasons Petett Chiropractic is your choice for Seattle chiropractic care is because we understand our city and the people who live here. Seattle is world-renowned for the nature that surrounds the city and Dr. Scott and Dr. Anne are always eager to head into the great outdoors. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite summer spots for hiking, biking and enjoying a fun Seattle summer.
Bainbridge Island
Hop a ferry from downtown Seattle and in just 35 minutes you’ll be on Bainbridge Island, a quaint island village perfect for a day trip! Whether you’re looking for natural or artistic beauty, Bainbridge has galleries, hikes, and vistas galore, so you can experience a restorative summer day. With a host of excellent restaurants, the Winslow Way shopping district and a variety of trails, there’s something for everyone. If you’re looking for a scenic walk, check out the Waterfront Trail along Eagle Harbor where you’ll see beautiful views and local wildlife.
Mount Si
Mount Si is one of the Greater Seattle area’s most popular hikes, with over 100,000 people hitting the trail every year. If you’re up for the challenge, this hike will entertain and push you regardless of your level of fitness or hiking experience. With a steep enough of a climb to get your blood pumping, stunning views of the surrounding area, and old-growth trees to marvel at, Mount Si is a summer treasure.
Burke-Gilman Trail
Previously a railway corridor for several lines, the Burke-Gilman Trail has developed into a local hotspot during the summer. Stretching for 18.8 miles along the shores of Lake Washington, all the way from Kenmore to Ballard, the Burke-Gilman Trail is one of Metro Seattle’s finest urban trails. Cyclists will especially love the moderate terrain and views of the city’s most bountiful areas.
If you injure yourself while out and about this summer, contact Petett Chiropractic! We’re your local, caring, Seattle chiropractic team, led by Dr. Scott and Dr. Anne, here to help get you back to health and enjoying whatever you love doing.
